Finland

Got up early and caught a taxi to the airport. Too many stairs and people on the tube.
Not to much traffic on the road as it's a public holiday in France.

Had a good look around the airport and some lunch at a Scottish restaurant.



 







This is the train station at Charles de Gaulle Airport.


The Finair flight was without incident.







 
Arrived in Helsinki at 4.00pm where Anna-maija met us.
A nice drive to Hamina in the sunshine.
Had a lovely BBQ cooked tea.

Sunset was at 10.30pm, then twilight until 3.45 when the sun will rise again.
Not easy to sleep when the daylight is continuous.
